The volumetric design consisted of recreating the concept of "excavated rock" and allowing the user to enjoy the outdoor spaces in a protected way to the winds and the sun, characteristic of the area.

The architecture of the house allows a total weakenability between interior and exterior, the routes were idealized in order to provide the user with sensations of discovery between light and shadow, full and empty.

Situated in a residential area a few minutes from Baleeira Beach in Sagres.

Praia da Baleeira has a small sandy beach, located in a wide bay. The North zone is less suitable for going to baths due to the pebbles that take the place of the sand. To the south, the beach is bounded by one of the pontoons of the Port of Baleeira. About a mile in the sea, you can see the Islets of Martinhal. Access is achieved through the facilities of the port of shelter.

Sagres displays some of the most impressive landscapes in the Algarve. The force of nature is so strong at the most southwestern tip of all continental Europe that visitors soon realize why the ancient settlers nicknamed it "sacred", because it was the starting point of the Portuguese explorers in the fifteenth century towards the unknown and how it managed to maintain its fascinating natural beauty.

The history of Sagres was defined by its geographical location and the magnificent headland of Sagres and Cape S. Vicente. The idea that the land ends here on these 50-metre-high headlands that precipitate dramatically into the sea was a constant source of mystery and attraction for visitors

Sagres belongs to the municipality of Vila do Bispo in the natural park of the Costa Vicentina. Throughout the county, several are the natural wonders where silence rules, making the delights of its visitors.

The wild and rugged landscape of the west coast and the strength and attraction of the sea continue to delight visitors. The beautiful cliffs and long expanses of sand of the coast north of Cape St. Vincent have made it a place of choice among surfers, paragliding practitioners and lovers of wild and inhospitable natural environments.

The south coast offers more alternatives where you will find long sands alternated by small caves nestled between cliffs, the most difficult to access those that sometimes offer blessed and practically deserted beaches. The beaches where fishing villages grew, such as Salema or Burgau, are popular villages on the part of family turism, very close to the golf course inserted in the resort Santo Anónio Golf & SPA and Parque da Floresta Golf & Leisure Resort.

Less touristy but more important because it is the capital of the municipality, Vila do Bispo is a friendly village near the two coasts, offering a fantastic gastronomy - based on seafood and freshly caught fish, as well as the famous perceves - through some of the best restaurants in the Algarve. Still, the best of Vila do Bispo is its people; people who know and like to receive visitors, pamper them with local product offerings, chat for hours and always with a pure smile on their face.
